How do you respond to this story? How do you respond to the powerful effect Jesse had on those around him? We have chosen to remember Jesse, and the tangible “peace that passed understanding” we were enveloped in during his last days, by telling his story, and by continuing the passion of his heart with a non-profit fund.
The story is an old one, and one the Bible tells us should be ours, yet it is so seldom seen that it is worth telling again to remind ourselves that it is all true. We really can enter into the mythic adventure of good-versus-evil with God by our side. We really can have a positive effect on people and situations around us, even when life itself is taken from us.
The fund, The Jesse Kay Memorial Foundation, is set up to help the poor with medical, educational and spiritual support. We will take the money from sale of Jesse’s story and any donations that come in and use them helping the poor, particularly third world countries with medical ministries, education, building facilities, creating businesses and thus jobs, building low income housing, spiritual training of local peoples, and building churches.
